Triumph 500 and 650s used to do heaps of cross-country outings when I began riding in 1960s, club riding in mid 1970s. paper writing service. I rode BSA 650 Thunderbolt one season and we did around 500 mile weekend runs. The prior motor tunes were less high rpm, more mid range and traveled genuinely great 55 to 80 mph.
