2014 Triumph Bonneville

2014 TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE STAYS TRUE TO ITS ROOTS
The first Triumph Bonneville came out in 1959 and instantly became one of the fastest vehicles normal people could buy, on 2 or 4 wheels. The "Bonnie" became the stuff of legends, and a sign of being cool. Movie stars and rock stars alike loved their Triumph Bonnevilles. Alas the 'old Triumph' went belly-up in 1983. But a 'new Triumph' arose from the ashes in Hinkley, England, building thoroughly modern 3- and 4-cylinder motorcycles starting in 1991. It took until 2001 to launch the new Triumph Bonneville. It stayed true to the classic Bonneville's styling, but also its stance, its feel, and its purpose. They went out of their way to configure the DOHC 8-valve engine to look like its forebears, with its triangular timing cover on the right and large primary cover on the left, the "Delta"-shape of the head and barrels, and the twin cam towers made to look like the rocker boxes of old. Nicely done in final form, and they run great. The 2014 has multi-port electronic sequential fuel injection that helps make 65 horsepower at a lofty 7500 rpm with gobs of torque down low for easy riding in every day traffic. Modern bikes like the 2014 Triumph Bonneville convey that classic vibe, while delivering all the benefits of a modern bike, like reliability. Another nice thing about a newer bike is that you can finance them with easy terms.
