Motorcycle Chains

MOTORCYCLE CHAINS
If your motorcycle isn't shaft-driven, then it probably has a chain. Chains are amazing, wonderful pieces of engineering. They smoothly, reliably, quietly transmit power from your gearbox to the rear wheel. You accelerate hard, you engine brake hard, over and over again, mile after mile, year after year, and your chain just keeps taking it. But sooner or later it will need to be replaced, and you don't want to wait until it fails. A busted chain at highway speeds can be catastrophic, and not just for your motorcycle. Stay ahead of it with proper maintenance, adjustment and inspection. One of the easiest ways to see if your chain has stretch is by pulling one of the links away from the rear sprocket. If it's stretched, it will move in and out of that tooth of your sprocket. Since the other teeth around it are holding the rest of the chain securely from both sides, any play you're seeing is due to chain stretch. And if it's dry and notchy, and lubing it doesn't help, you need a new chain. We carry a wide selection of Chains at discount prices from name brand, all through Amazon. So easy shipping and a great return policy. Shop with conifdence.
