1948 Grand Prix Tiger 100
Hi,
First time at your site and it brings back a lot of great memories. looking over the list of old Triumphs I didn't find my bike. It is a 1948 GP Tiger 100. It is easy to spot amoung Triumphs due to the straight forward pointing exhaust ports. I bought this one used from a Triumph dealer I worked for in Panama City in 1956. It had been modified in CA I was told. It was disabled when I bought it but was able to put it on the road shortly. I rode the street and local scrambles, woods runs and field meets with it and loved the bike. Here is a photo of the bike before I got it.
